Production funding prospectus for the "Smile" music video by Patch+.
Shot. February 15, 2026.
The team behind Patch+ works professionally in art direction, creative direction, and production. "Smile" applies that same rigor to the band's own material — a silhouette-based music video referencing Lourdes Castro's shadow work, shot on an LED videowall stage in Brooklyn and rotoscoped in post to produce graphic silhouettes on vivid color fields.
The shoot is complete: 10 hours on set, 62 shots across 5 blocks, a 15-person team including DP, gaffer, wardrobe stylist, and 2 professional dancers. Every frame was captured. What remains is post-production and delivery.
Production Is Done. Post Is Not.
The team contributed all creative labor at professional rates — director, DP, stylist, choreography, art direction. The shoot is in the can. What remains is the hard-cost layer: a professional editor for a multi-week rotoscoping and compositing pipeline, color grading, and multi-format delivery. $5,000 covers the full project budget — production costs incurred plus the post-production runway to finish.
